Trump Came to Nebraska to “Reassure the Sheep”
John Hansen of the Nebraska Farmers Union had a memorable description of President Trump’s Nebraska speech: “the great reassuring of the sheep speech.”
His argument? Trump spent less time making the case for Nebraska candidates and more time talking about his favorite subject, Donald Trump.
And Hansen, a former livestock producer, delivered the punchline: “You reassure the sheep right before you shear the sheep.”
