Nebraska Governor Candidate Sounds Off on AI Data Centers

Should Nebraska keep offering incentives to attract massive AI data centers? Or is it time to slow down and put local communities first?

Former Nebraska State Senator and now gubernatorial candidate Lynne Walz joins The Dan Parsons Show to discuss one of the biggest issues facing the state: AI data centers, local control, water, electricity, and economic development.

Watch this short clip from our conversation, then let me know where you stand in the comments.

Do you support bringing more AI data centers to Nebraska?

A Nebraska Father’s Plea to Gov. Pillen: “Stop Hurting Families Like Mine”

A Nebraska Father’s Plea to Gov. Pillen: “Stop Hurting Families Like Mine”

For more than 40 years, Mike Browne’s two sons have required around-the-clock care because of profound developmental disabilities and severe autism. Now, a new state assessment says they’re suddenly “less disabled.”

In this emotional message, Browne explains why he believes Nebraska’s new disability assessment system is producing results that don’t match reality—not just for his family, but for more than 700 families across the state.

He is calling on Governor Jim Pillen to pause the current assessment process, restore families to their previous level of care, and fix or replace the assessment tool before more vulnerable Nebraskans are harmed.

Browne urges viewers to sign the petition through the Disability Alliance of Nebraska and help ensure that individuals with profound disabilities receive the services they need.
